Kangaroote Digital LLC (“Kangaroote,” “we,” “us”) operates kangaroote.com from Greenwich, Connecticut. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who processes it, and how to reach us.

Who this applies to

Visitors to kangaroote.com, people who submit the contact form, and anyone who emails or calls us about a project. If we sign a client agreement, that contract may add project-specific terms.

Information we collect

  • Contact form: name, email, phone (optional), and the message you type. A hidden honeypot field is used only to reject automated spam.
  • Direct contact: whatever you send to Kangarootellc@gmail.com or tell us at (203) 212-2013.
  • Usage: pages viewed, approximate location from IP, browser type, and referrer, collected by Vercel Analytics. This is not used to build a marketing profile of you.
  • Rate-limit cookie: after you submit the contact form, we set an HttpOnly cookie so the same browser cannot flood the inbox. It stores a count and timestamp, not your name or email.

We do not ask for payment card numbers on this site. Invoices are handled separately on the payments page.

How we use it

  • Reply to inquiries and, if you become a client, run the project.
  • Keep the site working, measure traffic, and reduce spam.
  • Meet legal, tax, or security obligations when those apply.

We do not sell personal information and we do not rent our contact list.

Processors

We use vendors to run the site. They only get what they need to provide that service:

  • Vercel — hosting, analytics, and speed insights
  • Contentful — CMS for page copy and images
  • EmailJS — delivers contact-form messages to our inbox

Cookies

The contact rate-limit cookie is strictly necessary for the form. Analytics may set its own cookies according to Vercel’s documentation. We do not run advertising pixels on this site.

How long we keep it

Contact messages stay in our inbox and vendor logs long enough to answer you and keep a record of the conversation, typically up to two years unless a project or legal need requires longer. Analytics are retained according to Vercel’s defaults.

Your rights

If you are in Connecticut or another jurisdiction with similar privacy laws, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to say whether we have collected it. Email us from the address you used so we can verify the request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising those rights.

Children

This site is for business customers. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

We will update the date at the top when this policy changes. Continued use of the site after a change means you have seen the new version.
